Leo Grande wows in Berlin, gets US release date

Good Luck To You, Leo Grande – Sophie Hyde’s latest film, shot and edited by Bryan Mason – has premiered at the 2022 edition of the Berlinale, with stars Emma Thompson and Daryl McCormack wowing the crowd at a rare in-person screening. Sophie Hyde was in attendance for the special gala event which marks the films European premiere.

Emma Thompson spoke of the hardest thing she’s ever had to do as an actor - to stand in front of a mirror and see her body without judgement. See more of her eloquent speech here.

Searchlight Pictures, who hold the US rights for the film, also revealed plans for it’s June 17th release date in the US on streaming service Hulu. UK release dates yet to be announced.
